President
Lou founded The Strategic Talent Group, Inc. to provide clients with consulting services tailored to enhancing senior executives’ ability to lead in the execution of strategy. He has delivered leadership development services to Boards of Directors of public companies, senior executives of Fortune 500 client companies, as well as to leaders of early stage, entrepreneurial firms, in an array of industries.
Prior to founding STG, Lou's experiences included senior corporate executive roles responsible for human resources at two large public companies, in the industrial and energy segments, where he successfully worked directly for CEOs, and with Directors and other senior executives, on strategic talent management challenges.
A major portion of his prior career was at General Electric Company in executive and managerial human resources roles. At GE he developed an expertise in organization and strategic talent management working with senior executives leading business units. In 30 years of corporate experience, Lou has performed organization and strategic talent management work throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia.
Lou has authored articles on Executive Assessment and Succession, spoken at national conferences on Leadership Development, and served as a guest lecturer at various universities on strategy execution, leading organization change and strategic talent management. He is a member of the Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Visitors at Marymount University’s School of Business in Arlington, VA.
